We are the BANANAS!

My Banana family. I haven't found much time to blog lately so I'm making the most of my free time now. A very short post though. Kesatria practices have been great! Me and many other kesatria members are really enjoying.... MARCHING! Who knew? None of us people can do sports, plus we can't do cheer! So, there you go. Solution : Marching

Somewhere during our practices, we made up this weird banana concept. Eventually making up the banana family. Poeple involved HAVE to be in 3 Cengal, Kesatria and Marching. You must have the stated details to be an official banana. How lame can we get man? Oh well.

Apparantly I'm Sama-nana the perasan-nana. I think at 1st I was Samantha-nana but that name was too long. But  don't get why they added the perasan-nana. All I did was say something slightly perasan-ish. Anyway, you wanna know who 'they' are?

What an awesome party it was. The plan was, Fina was to fetch Claudia and Elaine to OU. But, surprise! surprise! When Fina and Claudia reached the house... The house went haywire! You should have seen the look on their faces. It was PRICELESS!! I wonder why everytime someone gets surprised no one goes up and hug them. You can't expect the shocked victims to come and hug you can you? So, I made the first move and hugged Fina. Then, everyone got into the hugging mood. A crowd gathered around Claudia. After I was done hugging Fina, others who were in line took their turns with her.

We played Treasure Hunt made my Elaine's sis, Audrey. It was tough, really tough. Fina's group won! My group did the best we could:) Later, we played killer! Super fun!

I only killed two people, maybe that's why I didn't get caught. I only killed Liz and Boon Kuan. Repaying the favor of whenever he killed me. I made a better doctor in another round though.

After that, we played "Don't let the balloon touch the floor" Girls vs Guys / Dark clothes vs Light clothes.

Soon after that, I had to leave with Nat. I'm glad I was a part of this awesome party. Planning it was as fun. Lying to Fina and Claudia. Haha:) Hope you girls had fun!

The second week?

A few things happened this past week. The second week of school. I got a haircut last Saturday. No one could seem to tell. It was just much much thinner than shorter. But when I don't tie up my hair its more obvious my hair was cut. The 1st person to notice without me telling them was Rayshell. She claims its because she took a potrait photo of me the other day. Heidi was the only other one who noticed. And this time my hair was tied up.

It doesn't look like much difference I know. But it feels much lighter:)

Nothing that interesting happened this week, Same old same old. There are many new puzzles though! I'm loving every single one of it. I got most of it, and the more I get the faster I get the next one. My brain works faster in other things too!:) Tze Kwang and Han Jiang are experts at these kinda stuff.

I'm really enjoying the English lessons. Puan Tan is awesome. I love her methods of teaching. Just the other day she asked us to do some warm up exercises in class cause were all so sleepy. Here's how it goes:

Puan Tan: Ok. All of you get up and walk around the class. Go! Walk one round! And say hi to everyone you pass by.

Class: Huh? *Gets up and starts walking around class and saying hi* (laughter)

3 Angsana: ?? *What's going on opposite us?*

Puan Tan: Ok, now sleep on the table. *Everyone fakes a sleep on the table*

3 Angsana: (Really confused) *staring out the window*

Puan Tan: Now, Joshua, please be the rooster and wake the whole class up. Since you don't want to sleep on the table.

Class: Hahaha.

Joshua: *too chicken to do it*

Puan Tan: Ok la. Everyone get up. Now are you awake? *nudges Calvin* Eh, you really fall asleep ah? Get up!

Anyways, I got things together. My personal problems are in control. I can't really find something wrong in my life. I am so blessed, that's all I can say:)

Oh yeah! Did I mention my school baju kurung kena stolen? I'm serious! Someone climbed over the fence at night and stole it. They didn't even steal my bike. They stole nothing else but my uniform. Weird huh? Any idea why someone would do such a thing? Plus, I don't think its the first time. Last year I lost my other pair of baju kurung. My dad assumed I didn't bring it home but I remembered specifically that I did. Now that this has happened, I realize the same people who recently stole my uniform could have done it before. I told my dad and he says it could be a possibility. *He still thinks I could've left it in school.* Oh well. I already bought a new pair of baju kurung. My third pair. My dad says if this one gets stolen then its not meant to be. He says this is the last time he's letting me buy baju kurung. It's not even my fault it got stolen in the first place. Haiz.. Oh well, its not like the world's gonna end if I have to pinafore 5 days a week. I'll just have to hold my breath and pray that this doesn't happen again:)

Lame but funniest in class: Tze Kwang*I'm loving his IQ puzzles!*

I know his missing his ex-classmates from 2 Balau but I do enjoy having him in my class:) He says the classmates are growing on him. They've already started to grow on me!:)

There is morning prayer every morning. Alycia and Yi Fen encouraged us to attend on our 1st prayer meeting of the year. So, I did! I like praying. There's always so much you can pray about, people to pray for. I, personally feel a little insecure in the mornings. I have this fear early in the morning. Something inside me that's just making me a little shaky. I pray for God to keep me safe in His arms. Later, I feel safe. I know its a bit odd but that's how I feel early in the mornings.

Anyways... Form 3 is going well. I'm adjusting to the tight tution schedules. I take every subject besides English. Crazy huh?  But I promised myself I'll try my best this year. I'll face all the challenges that comes for me.

Well, PMR is on October 6, 7, 8, 11, 12 Five days. It's gonna pass before we know it. I'm cherishing every day I have before me. Not going to waste any of my time doing unnecessary things. Classes ahve been going well. I like my English teacher, Puan Tan*Melanie's mom*:) Something happened today when she asked a few people to act out a small scene of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde:

If you read the book you might understand it better. This proves 3 Cengal CANNOT act! I was so upset when English period ended today. It was the only class we had today too. Last period pula and only 35 minutes.

I've only learned 2 of them. I figured them out. So many people can't seem to get it. It's not that lame. It's SUPER FUN! You have to try it. There is a lot more to come says Tze Kwang. Han Jiang is like his assistant. Lol:) It's so cool! A few people has gotten. The cutest among all is Sean and Andrea. Sean got the 2nd puzzle while Andrea got the 1st. They keep testing each other. Hinting over and over again. It's super cute. Am I allowed to say that without them killing me? Oh well. Hopefully I didn't die last night like the girl above*points at previously typed words*

I can't remember what happened in the past few days but all in all it was a great first week of school:) It's gonna be a great year. I just know it:) I like the part where I have no bad blood with anyone in class. I had some the previous year. I haven't run away from it but there's nothing I can do but pray. I still have faith things will go back to how it used to be in the BEGINNING of 2009. But now it is 2010. I'm not going to make the mistakes I made before. I've learnt from them. Sure, I might make some new mistakes, but I'll learn from them too, won't I?;)

2010

Its a new year. There have been a lot of changes, don't you think so? All change is for the better. I've changed for the better. I now have a better perspective on life. I've found a way back to my roots of being a Catholic Christian. Even my mom is proud that I discovered CF and so many other events that brought me back to where I belong. I belong to God and God alone.

I now do devotions daily. I remember to pray everyday. I go to church as usual and I'm closer to friends who love God the same way I do. Its been a great change for me. I feel so refreshed.

Tomorrow is the 1st day of school 2010. I'm going to be in 3 Cengal. I have friends that can be found in all classes. All awesome people. It doesn't matter that we're not in the same class together, we're all still great friends:) And good luck to all those out there who are afraid of going back to school. To be honest, I'm a bit frightened myself. Its a new year. A new schedule for most of us and its not going to be easy at first but we'll make it through. Just like we made it through 2009. I'll be praying for all of us. Scared or not, I'll be praying.

C and C (Camp and Christmas)

IMPACT CAMP 2009 BACK TO BASICS

Ok. I know I haven't been blogging lately and I'm sorry. I've had some slightly more important things to do. Things I've been doing for the past few days. Hey! Wanna know what happened at Impact Camp? So I don't know how I can put the camp experience into words but I'll try. Let's start with it was a wonderful experience for me personally. No offense but it was better than CF camp in my opinion. For me, personally. I actually felt God's presence. Some people may have felt it at CF camp but I honestly didn't. I was feeling so lost at one point during CF camp. Maybe it was the different people or the different enviroment but I felt God's presence there at Impact Camp. Like I said, I experienced a lot.

It all started at the worship session Alycia was leading. It was an acoustic session. All the better. We weren't concentrating anything but the Lord. There were tears everywhere. From me and all around me. People were repenting. People were concentrating. There was nothing else but God in our minds. I had one of the facilitators, Grace Chow pray for me. She found me and just started praying for me. Yi Fen was there for me too but I had a feeling she had to be there for herself first. All of us needed prayer at that point. I was lucky I brought tissue with me. I bring tissue with me wherever I go actually. Well, most of the time.

That session wasn't the only session. The last session before camp ended was a crucial one too. This time I was prayed for before the tears came down my face. Another facilitator/good friend of mine, Rachel Liu gave me a big hug and started praying for me. It was during the prayer that I started crying and went into deep thoughts of God. I'm not sure if I've been explaining it right. The experience was different for everybody. My thoughts were mostly on my family. That's all I can tell you.

As for the other activities at camp, there was MIKASA! In other words, volleyball! It was another awesome experience. Everone learnt how to play and everyone got a chance to play. My team came in second. We were in the finals due to some awesome players on my team.

Wait, to continue on, I'll have to tell you ABOUT my team. Our team is the letter 'A'. So Alycia came up with this awesome name. "Aku Amat Awesome". Also known as A cube/A3. Do you get it? AAA. Anyways, it was an awesome group made out of 13 awesome people.

1. Rachel Liu - The awesome facilitator. She took very good care of everyone of us underage people. She was always there for us whenever we needed her. Did I mention she was also an awesome actor? You go Taylor Swift!!

2. Shen Wen - The leader of this awesome enough group. She always complained about how annoying I was and how crazy I can get but I love her! And she had to admit that she loves me too! And I'm missing her now.

3. David Tham - Son of pastor Aaron Tham and twin brother of Daniel Tham. He was the assistant leader of the pack and he loved picking on people. He picked on everyone just the same. Whether you were a boy or girl. In the end, he was not so bad of a guy. *If you can get past the insults and teasing*

4. Alycia Tan Wei Wenn - She was the one of the awesomest in the group. She came up with the lamest stuff for Talentime. She also kept us together like family. She made sure we were prepared for challenges and she was always cheering us on. A cube wouldn't be the same without her.

5. Amanda Kok - A 13 year old girl from Sri Aman that has this 'thing' with a dude named Ian Tan. Neither of them admit it. She stays up all night texting him. Thing is, he was at camp too! What a waste of credit. She's fun and joyful. She also gets scared after hearing a ghost story.
6. Joel Ding - One of the funniest guys I've ever met. He can improvise, man can he improvise! You should have heard him when he was talking about his 'baby'! :D When you put him and Alycia together, you CANNOT stop the randomness.

7. Wei Li - The one that put us all together in the first place! She was in charge of the group placings at camp. Another awesome person you have to meet! She is so lovable:)

8. Han Jiang - The one that was always missing from the meetings. Its not his fault he was busy. He helped out with the PA stuff and could rarely make it to our meetings on Talentime. He managed his time and he ended playing a very crucial role in the play. Michael Jackson!

9. Jun Liang - Also known as the GFF. Not 'girlfriend forever' but ' GIANT FILTER FUNNEL'!! He has an awesome evil look:D

10. Gary Yeo - James Blunt with the low self esteem. Nah!! He doesn't really have low self esteem. He was so awesome to hang out with. So easy to talk to. I hope I get to talk to him in school:D
11. Edwin Nga - A strong X-ray but a very easily broken wall;)

12. Timothy Chye - The one that has to always be right. He can also pull of a mean Australian accent!!

13. ME!:) - I don't have to tell you what I was like ;D

We won some and we lost some. Losing and winning are both equally fun! Really! We lost Captain Twister. We won Talentime. We came in 2nd for Mikasa. We came in 3rd for Treasure Hunt. Thats about it. But overall? We WON! No gloating or anything but who knew? We won in the end. It was the team effort and the love we shared for one another that got us the win. Well, that's just my opinion:) There was a lot more to Impact Camp than what I've shared. It can't all be said but I hope you just understand just how great it was and think about joining next year:)

Now about Christmas:)

This year I didn't just spend Christmas with my family, I attended the Impact Christmas Party on the 26th. It was great to see everybody again. Well most of everybody. I brought Fina along with me. There's not much to tell about Christmas. Though I have to mention one of my favourite gifts. A devotion book for girls.

It was given by this dude named David. Lol:) People accuse me of liking him and stuff, people like Alycia, Rayshell.... But he's like a very caring big brother to me. He helped me through some of the problems I was facing after camp. He also introduced me to Pastor Irene whom was very helpful:) He gave me my very 1st devotion book that I am currently using along with a journal I write my devotion notes in:) Also something I got for Christmas, the journal I mean.

This is our temporary home

This song can mean a lot of different meanings to different people. It tells us 3 stories. 3 stories we should learn from. You have to listen to the song and pay close attention to the lyrics before you can understand it thoroughly. I want to share my story. Not in a verse, but in words.


There were many unexpected turns in my life. Did you think I knew my life would turn out like this when I was just 7 or 8 years old? No. I had no clue. I lived life as normal as everyone else. Some people describe life as 'hell on earth'. That's not right. Sure life can be tough, but you don't have to make it any tougher. Life isn't all bad. People choose to see the things that's gone wrong in their lives. How about the good times? I shared enough about my bad turn outs. I have some good stories to share too.


As some of you know, I've moved a lot. But every state I was in, I had great friends. Now in Selangor, I have the same. That's one. Secondly, my mom's sickness brought us back to where my sister and I were born. Sure it was hard leaving people we love back in Sabah, but look at where we are. We're with our family. Most of our family members have been living here all their lives. We're glad to be with our family again, they are glad too. I like feeling the love I feel everytime I hug an aunty or an uncle or even one of my cousins. My friends have also become family to me. Lastly, this is not the only life I have. I believe in heaven. That's where the title of my post comes in. This is all our temporary homes. Life on earth. We still have life in heaven. That's what I believe. But for now, I'm enjoying my temporary home:)

Barbie Doll

Went to Pavillion yesterday. Did a bit of Christmas shopping. I finally bought Yi Fen's Christmas present! I also bought my mom's. I bought her a photo frame that I'm gonna fill with family photos. As for my dad, I decided that my sister and I can make him vouchers he could use to make us do EXTRA chores in the house. Good idea huh? LOL I still haven't gotten anything for my sister yet. Not really sure what to get her. Any suggestions? :/ I was my aunty's personal barbie doll for the day. She likes picking out clothes for me to wear. I don't really mind though. But I prefer shopping with my friends cause then we all try on clothes instead of me going solo in the fitting room all the time.

Anyways, IMPACT CAMP is tommorow! I'm packing tonight. Already got all my T-shirts and pants ready, just have to put them in the bag. Big pillow or small pillow? I do not know yet. I'll blog when I get back from camp then:)

Tired

I went out with Yi Fen just recently. It was supposed to be a hangout with more than just 2 people, but in the end... you can guess right? It didn't turn out so bad. Like Yi Fen said, we would get to do more shopping, which was sooo TRUE! Our main reason was to shop for accessories for Career Night at the upcoming IMPACT CAMP. It started out like that. Later, we did some Christmas shopping. We bought our CF Christmas Party shopping. Now we just have to make sure we don't get each other's gifts cause wealreay know what it is;) Anyway, we also shopped for Angels n Mortal's gifts. Yi Fen suggested 2 gifts and the rest of days we could just give candy or chocolate. Good idea:) Later we did some clothes shopping!! It was so easy. We were in no hurry at all. We didn't really have any specific shop we wanted to go to. We just walked and well, shopped. We ate lunch at Waffle World. We wanted to eat at A&W but we decided not to for two reasons.

1) The queue was very long

2) There were people we I wasn't so comfortable with there *i think*

Anyways, we saw Tze Kwang and some of his NSCFL friends at Waffle World and we also so Elaine, Claudia, Rufina, Alycia..... at A&W. I think it was a SKTM hang out thingy. We said hi to both parties of course. We didn't take many pictures. But we did do a lot of shopping considering the shopping bags we each brought home. ADD ON had a huge thing going on. 3 tops = RM10, 3 bottoms = RM20  What a bargain?! And by the way, I finished most of my Christmas shopping! The details of the day we kinda blur to me.... read Yi Fen's blog instead. I'm sure she did a much better job on blogging this than I did:)

I also took my sister and her friend shopping. I got my cousin to take us there. It just so happens my cousin's best friend is Heidy's sister! What a small world la:)

I have to admit it wasn't that bad shopping with a couple of 10-year-olds. I spent money on lunch and tea time and a 7 bucks top while the girls spent over 100 buck!! Oh well, its their money. I took them to the arcade where I saw some DJ people. And thats about it:)

Besides that, I had my tambourines workshop today! WOW Anyone who says playing the tambourine doesn't take effort, they are definitely WRONG! It takes a lot of effort and heart. It's also a good work out for your arms:D You eventually get used to the pain and have tons of fun playing the tambourine. I don't regret ever signing up! Thanks Yi Fen for making me sign up in the 1st place!:) There are a total of 8 moves we had to memorize. Lets see if I can remember them all:
